Coolant Leak

So recently coolant has begun to leak from under the engine, the coolant tank is visibly draining after each drive..
So after tightening ALL bolts around the leak it was stopped for maybe 30 km before it started yet again.
If anyone has a clue, please tell..

Money is tight, so scrapping it isn't happening..

I'll post pictures of the leak in a couple of minutes

MrMartin

It's a 2005 125cc, forgot to mention

Clean up any wet areas so you can identify the actual source of the leak.

Chances are it's only leaking once the engine is up to temperature and sufficient pressure has built up in the coolant system.

I'd personally not risk using the bike until this is fixed. If it overheats it could get very expensive....

If you find that the leak is coming from the Inspection Hole underneath the water pump housing, your water pump seals have gone.

Easy enough and cheap enough to fix yourself, but check that water isn't getting into the oil - or you will be looking for a new engine and gearbox!

My recent leak was the radiator died, couldn't tell until all the fairings were removed then it was clearly visible... Being the highest wet point. I noticed small drips on the engine cover left side.

The coolant fluid is only dripping on the right side,
Not really good with mechanical work.. so does that mean the radiator is not the issue?

I would really appreciate if you can find a store who sells that specific seal, have been looking around and no results yet :(

There are 2 seals to change - the Oil Seal and the Mechanical Seal.

Plenty of sellers on eBay but double-check with the seller so you know which one you are getting.
