Rear brake switch

Picked up my 05 125xl Varadero from the garage on Friday and I've done nearly 200 miles on it already. Noticed this morning before heading to work that the rear brake pedal doesn't bring the brake light on. Obviously the front lever does so its not the bulb. Whats the mos likely suspect for this? I am assuming its the switch on the foot brake thats needing adjusted, but just in case anyone knows of any other probable causes I'd thought I'd ask here first.
Thanks.
