Hello Macca, welcome to the site. Yeah I get flashed by the occasional muppet when on dipped beam (do have brighter bulbs fitted) but it's only occasional. A quick flick onto full beam normally stops them flashing? >:D? ?

Either get your headlight aim checked out and adjusted with you sat on the bike, increase the rear suspension preload before going 2 up (which you should anyway) or tell your pillion to eat less pies? :D

Froggy, were you on high/full beam all the time?? not really needed and it tends to p*ss other road users off even more than a normal headlight on dipped beam. Probably worth getting your headlight aim checked out too.

Never let a motorcycle take you somewhere your brain didn't go five seconds earlier

I've had this issue on both my Vara and my Africa Twin, I just put full beams on. The numpties who put their fog lights on in protest get extra attention
