Hi
Anybody any experience or advice about the C3 ?
I tried one on recently and it sure feels comfortable and well made, so thinking about replacing my wretched Arai (noisiest helmet in the world). C3 claims to be quietest flip front ever !
I've read quite a few 'reviews' on other forums etc.
1. Some report misting or leaking from the upper visor seal, and
2. Internal sun visor falls down with vibration
One thing seems to be missing from all reports and reviews for helmets is the bike and set up it was tested on. Wind noise and visor operation is surely different for sports bikes compared to a Varadero with a decent screen.
cheers

Be interesting to hear any views on this - I use a Shoei Multitech and find it very noisy. Mind you I have 'nt fitted a new screen etc yet.

I had both the justisimo and the trip flip front helmets ,,,,,,,,,,,,not really anything good to say about either ,,,,apart from price really ,,,,the trip is the noisiest helmet ever ,even wearing ear plugs it was still loud

I've had it for over 2 years and it is really comfortable.

I do get a bit of wind noise but I'm 6ft 2 so get the usual head buffering on the Vara.

It has never leaked or steamed up and I ride all weather. I'm still on the original visor and the pinlock is excellent.

Hope this helps!

I have a 2009 vara with mra vario screen and schuberth c3. Good setup although I can't get rid of buffeting. Was much worse with my arai tour x though.

i have had a c3 for 2 yrs.top of visor lets an odd drip in if is heavy rain. wind noise differs with different bikes (screen size, shape, etc), mists up recently since i removed the internal visor to clean (prob not fitted it back correctly). other than that, well pleased but pricey. would definately buy again. hope this helps.
snatch a kiss.....or vice versa

Thanks for the comments to those who replied.
I've taken the plunge and bought a C3, just got the Autocom installed and waiting for an opportunity for a decent test ride.
Very impressed with the quality of the helmet and how easy it was to remove the bits to get the speakers & and mic in.
Expect a full review soon....
