I have got the HG Tricky set, its two pice zip together type
the jacket is just over ?200 but has lots of amour, back protector
and ventilated panles.

Some say its a bit OTT for a Vara

but better safe than sorry I say

Hope you find something you like

More info on "Leather jacket:"

Larvae of crane flies are elongate, grayish-white, and up to 40 mm long. Short, fleshy protuberances are present on the rear of the body. Adults are reddish brown flies 25 to 30 mm long that resemble giant mosquitoes. Damage occurs when larvae burrow into tubers or feed on roots. Low or wet areas of fields are likely spots for leather jacket damage. Host plants: grasses, cereals, potatoes, alfalfa.

Not bored now eh?

BF, gone to inspect (or should that be insect LOL) the lawn.

urm, okeydokey then   :D

i use the HG psx2 2 piece suit which i find pretty comfy but it is also pretty warm in summer.   my textile stuff is probably pretty
much the same but it FEELS like i'm riding naked with the lining taken out for summer.    leather is pretty good at keeping out a short,
light rain spells and if you're riding dries pretty quick too.    Guess any kind of suit will be warm, you could check out those mesh suits
that some companies make (i think HG do them) which have armour but the material has big holes in them to allow max air flow, dunno
how safe they are but better than a t-shirt i'll bet!!   O0
damn this things heavy...

The leather chaps  chaff the inner thigh a bit but a bit of lotion works a treat.
