Electrical: on battery connect, display flickering then die. no start.

Hi.
With or without key in the ignition, when i connect the battery the display is "flickering" (ticking sound and display turns on) for a few seconds, and then goes off. No power anywhere. Battery is tested and seems ok. Fuses are ok.

The problem came right after a very damp period in the autumn. Has been standing under roof outdoor since then. Still the same issue.

What could be wrong?

Solved. Simple. Just a faulty battery that showed full capacity but obviously had not.
