Adjusted my chain the other day, was a bit slack.
When I noticed that the right side of the adjustment screw is showing more than the right.
Not by much but, I thought what you adjust on the right, you must do the same on the left, this keeping the rear wheel aligned.
So do I have a problem or is this ok to ride with?

Don't trust the adjuster marks. What you need is both wheels in alignment. Best way is with a long piece of straight wood. Have it touching both sides of rear wheel on one side and measure distance away from front rim. Repeat on other side. Make sure they are equi-distant. Then the rear wheel follows the front.
You can also fine tune chain alignment bit it is the wheels that make the mostdifference to the way it tracks.

PS check the chain slack when you are actually sat on it, not on side/main stand.
I can still do all the things I could when I was 21, but now it is with less teeth.

Thanks mate.
Did not realize that I should check the chain while I'm sat on the bike. Just adjusted it from the side stand.
Will check the wheel alignment too, using your method.
While I'm here, what should my tyre pressure be? bought the bike with no manual, or service book, or anything really.

Pass on the tyre pressures for a 125. Anybody else want to chip in??

I've always adjusted chain on side stand as I can't measure 40mm slack with a ruler while sat on the bike. Seeing as I'm a single person with very few friends it is the only way of me doing it. I also use said same ruler to measure out the adjusters from a set point so they are equal as I'm crap with long pieces of wood ( probably why I'm single now) .
