corbin seats

 Hello all, Ive just bought  a 1000 varadero and my seat is  to uncomfortable. .I think it has been altered , has anybody got a corbin seat and are they comfortable
please help ... I can cover about 50 miles and my bum goes numb, this can,t normal.... thanks Geoff

No it's not normal Geoff.

Quite a few of us have just ridden to Poland and I don't think anyone has complained too loudly about bum comfort.

Hi Geoff, I agree about the seat on the new model, I rode every day on the carb model vara and never had any problems with comfort, the new model has got a firmer seat which causes numb bum. I think that Red and other members who find it comfortable must have far more padding on their bums than we have.

You have to be in the saddle for about 2 hours before you get it though. Better than my Africa Twin when you got numb Nuts after 40 mins.

Can't comment about the nuts but my slim unpadded bum is complaining after about an hour.

Not cheap though Geoff @ ?275 from Busters and a 6 week wait if you want one
