speedo/tacho
« on: March 21, 2019, 11:02:41 PM »
Baffled. Bike has been tucked up since October last year in my garage. When i put it away the speedo was working fine and the rev counter was dead. Got the bike out today and the speedo is now acting as the rev counter, sitting at 10mph at idle and going up when you rev and the rev counter itself is still dead. its a 2006 1000 Vara. Any suggestions would be much appreciated

Update. Put it away for the night. Started it the next morning and the speedo now works as a speedo. worked fine ever since. Bizarre

Probally moisture in the electrics which dried out as the bike warmed up?
