I was wondering just how many Varadero 125 are still on the road. You don't see many around these days, so i did some research to find out.

The data was retrieved from the DVLA web site.
It seems there are more Varadero's languishing in sheds than are on the road. If you have a 2001 it's a rare beast indeed.

Here is one I rebuilt this summer ! Sat in the shed in bits for 5 years after I developed Lupus, Engine rebuilt, loom rebuilt, carbs rebuilt, headlight repaired and reflector re silvered, new heated grips, powder coated footrests, tank and rear swing arm, new shock.... the list goes on ! Oh and new Givi screen ! And new exhaust !
