problems with rider v2

i used the original charger to charge the unit but it started to smell abit, i un-plugged straight away but it was too late, my unit is dead, the worst of it is that we can't find the receipt for it so can't remember where we bought it from so as it's only 4 months old we will have to pay to get it fixed

well we think it  was 4 months, our online statements only go back 3 months so for each month we need further back than that we have to pay ?6, we have 3 cards so we will have to order 3 or 4 months worth from 1 card if it's not on there then we do the same with the others, so i hope it shouldn't cost more than about ?36 maybe less.
