MRA X-Creen

Hello again everybody.
I was wondering if anybody out there has fitted an MRA X-Creen wind deflector to a Mk 1 XL1000. I have noticed it comes in a sport and touring option. I originally fitted a Skidmarx tall screen to my V2 and straight away had misgivings  about the screen. It was ok on main roads, but on the smaller roads, where you need to be looking out for grit etc on the corners, due to my 6' 2" stature my field of sight was split at the top of the screen. My mind was made up when I let my bike fall over and cracked the screen. What a sickener. Luckily no other damage. Anyway I am back to the original screen and have decided to fit a wind deflector. The X-Creen looks like it has loads of positioning angles to move through to get required effect. Has anybody got any ideas? Thanks

I've got an MRA screen on my 2011 1000. I'm 6' 3" and find it works well

Hello John. Thanks for the info. Is yours the sports or touring deflector?

John J:
I'm not sure, it was on the bike when I bought it a couple of years ago. The deflector adjusts to change the angle and I generally have it on the most forward position to push the air higher over me.

I think I'm going to invest in one. Thanks for getting back to me.
