I've done two weekend rides with the hugger installed and on both occasions Viagra has come home caked with salt, grime and every type of road crap you can think of  :(

But...the underside of the rear guard and the rear suspension were almost clean. You still get crap thrown up and blown into those areas but the difference is really outstanding. They should be fitted as standard to all UK spec bikes considering our weather  :D

I'll give it 9/10

Want to get one myself. Where did you get it from?

NWS - the link to their site is in the "Links - Miscellaneous" section of the website.

Well made product and a good fit.

Best ?70 ever ! The Vara one even extends below the swinging arm for extra protection.

If it was up to me I'd make it even longer to the rear but , as ever, "fashion" overrides
common sense !

 :(

There doesnt seem to be a hugger for the 125 Varadero, can anyone help at all?  for example, can the one for the 1000 be adapted to fit?  Is there another hugger that might fit etc.

What a mess Vanessa was in when we got back on Saturday, dont these farmers realise how much mess they make with their little tractors?? lol
Thanks to Loic for the Hugger link, contemplating as we speak

Hi Soosi

I've never seen one for the 125. Aftermarket bits for the 1000 are not that easy to get hold of, especially in the UK. As far as modifying one for yours, I'm afraid that would be a major job. The swinging-arms are totally diferent sizes as are the tyres.
Best I can do is sent you a "hug"ger over the net!  ;)

;)  Thanks for the hug.  Accepted with pride lol.  Shame about the hugger though, especially when you think that the tyres are like tractor tyres so it is obviously supposed to get "dirty" - well, she is cleaned and in the garage now and it WAS a fantastic ride out.
