This has prob most likely been mentioned before but i can highly recommend the Airhawk 2 medium cruiser comfort air seat.

Never have numb bum syndrome again, its an ace piece of kit as long as you set it up right so your bum is only 1/2 inch from seat.

I used to start feeling uncomfortable after a long sunday ride before, but not with an airhawk, even better if you are going to ride 700 miles to Freiburg in one hit!
