Just got her last week 2008 model, 12kms. last bike was r1200gs .Top heavy compared to gs wish the rear brake wasnt linked.might lower it somehow, seat or suspension ? not love at first sight but getting use to it.

I'll second Numptyspence, welcome.  I'm a newbie on a 1000 too and know what you mean about having to 'get used to it'. Ride safe and enjoy it all.
