at the rear underside of the airbox there is a mystery hole which i cannot figure out.

It goes to a chamber inside the airbox and has foam covered holes which again lead outside.

What hose is supposed to be here? does anyone know?

There are 3 small "air" pipes that connect to the airbox.

The 2 at the rear connect to the cylinder head covers via a solenoid for the PAIR system.

The one at the front activates the Variable Air intake Flap/valve via a separate solenoid.

I wonder what happen if I click on this - Ooops
