The Speeding Stag

very under rated Bike
I had one a few years back, excellent all rounder, but just a little to underpowered for 2 Up

:good: :good:

Who said anything about two up ? ha ha ha . The wifes erse widna cope with the hill tracks.  I was being selfish when I got it  of course, as one should. I had one years ago and it was good craic.  ;) ;)

Enjoy your new bike Jimmy
I've ridden two of the new 700 transalps and love them
So much faster than the old 600 and 650 bikes
Many happy and safe miles with it

Nice one.

I'm guessing this is a replacement and not an "as well as"

I saw a Varadero in Scotadds from Alness. Was that your old one ?

I went into Ecosse to pass the time one saturday and ended up buying a TA. Had no intentions of buying a bike. I did think about the cost of buying Varadero number 5 tho. The alp was cheap and I thought it would make a change for the mo. Easier to deal with on the hill and forest roads too. A change is as good as a rest as they say.    8)

5000 MILES AND LOVING IT SO FAR. Tend to go stupid places tho. It is easier to squeeze through gaps in fences etc. Original trailwings were shit but just fitted Heidenau K60s and am well impressed. I like the idea of carrying a tube and a mini compressor to fix punctures in the middle of nowhere too. How do you get assistance 10 miles into a Scottish hill via fords, footbridges and boggy bits ?  All makes a bit sense really, for now.   ;D ;D :uglystupid2:

Being sensible Derek. 22 litres of fuel, 21" tyre and nearly 11" ground clearance. Suits my purpose right now.   8)
