hi mate,

i was gutted to be too busy for the faro rally this year but its on the cards next year, or at least one year!!
im in southern england, my route would probably have to be portsmouth to santander.
then its a 580mi ride, either blasting down the most expensive toll routes in europe or going nearly as fast down some of the best roads in europe. your choice, but having done both to the costa blanca a few times i would def do the latter, make a good trip of it by having a couple of overnights on the way and on the way home. spain is great riding and i hope portugal would be the same. not as cheap as it used to be though, i was surprised this year how much it was to eat out, and fuels gone up a lot too.

so i f you fancy meeting up for the trip down (assuming im going)(assuming your going) and camp along the way, im up for it

I rushed that part of euroland last time so now I am near Plymouth, would hope to make better use of Northern Spain.

I fancy the Picos; Algave, and maybe the Atlas mountains.

Short trip planned in April and then a longer one in August 2010

Keep me in touch

Mike

PS Pillion might prefer to stay in simple hotels rather than camo - will work on that some more.
Biking is my 2nd childhood.  On my 3rd Varadeo.
