Planning a short European break soon. Need to be flexible around the return date.

After a brief look around, P&O are favourite at ?44.50 prebooked. 1h30m crossing and date of return change charged at ?10.

Anyone got anything better than that?

The chunnel was over ?100 !

Try seafrance. They were a little cheaper on my last trip and they had a lot more shape securing the bike in specially designed bays.

Tunnel really was so quick, easy and flexible recently....worth a shop around as there were lots of prices quoted at VIM - they seem to make it up. Cant remember what we paid as booked ages ago....

Not far from the tunnel I found N Luxemburg / Germany/ Belgium really very interesting - a real bikers playground. - Viaden Lux. Not cheap though and the euro does not help

whatever you do, do not just turn up at the tunnel without having booked first.  They will fleece you (sheep terminology) On the way back (once you roughly know your return time) find an internet source and book the cheapest crossing time.  You can then turn up with the excuse that your early or late or whatever at no extra cost.  Its worked for me several times.

Have a couple of places I specifically want to go to on the way but other than that will just generally meander.
