In fairness there are tents and there are tents. I guess these guys are a bit more serious than the buy once for ?9.99 from Tescos crowd

When I went to the Bulldog Bash recently 5 guys who parked their ASDA tents beside us just left them behind after the festival.... :good:

At those prices would need to live in my tent on a semi-permanent basis.  :o

Purchased a very nice tent from our local camping centre - reduced to ?29.99 from ?69.99.  Did a very good job of keeping me snug and dry at the BikerBabes summer meet in Wales and packed up nice and small to fit neatly on the bike.  :D  Being summer and Wales it chucked it down big style  ::)

Did have a ?9.99 Tesco's affair - ok in the dry but didn't fancy trying it out in the wet as it was a bit damp first thing in the morning just from the dew -  ideal for the children to play in though.  I know loads of tents get left at rallys - especially if its been wet but at those prices and in our throw-away society....!  Does seem a bit of a waste though  :-\

Agree entirely.....but as poppy says, you can still get decent tents much cheaper. Mine was ?80 reduced to ?49, and got top marks from 3 different backpacker sites. It has a great specc, is tiny & light when packed. Pity it's too short for me at 6'2"

Used for two nights, it's up for sale if anyone wants to buy it (includes new, unused spare outer tent). Coleman Cobra or Boa it's called, a strictly one-person tent.
