A bit of help needed please,Delivered with my touratech mount the power/audio cable has the black and red fused cable sticking out , Cropped tightly within the cable outer is a brown and white cable.
Do i solder on the battery leads aka as i did on the S-Pilot111 on the black and red ignore the brown and white, where is the audio pick up ,From the unit it self ??.

The genuine Garmin motorcycle cable for the 2610 has the unit power connector and a 2.5mm or 3.5mm (not sure) audio jack plug at one end and a fused red and black for connection to power at the other. If you don't have the audio jack then I would presume that's what the brown and white are for.

Thanks for that Red,the male of the power cable end, ie the sat nav end has the male slide in type connector no probs there, but at the same end a female jack-plug but i cannot see where this connects to, theres no place on the garmin unit for it to fit ,or is it possibly for a plug in ariel if you need one.
It doesn't show on the fitting page of the t-tech instructions.
Your help much appreciated.

The jack plug at the unit end is the audio connector - ie to a set of headphones in the helmet

Owen, are you wiring it up to your battery??

I did my SP3 power lead to the loom off the main ignition circuit, no flat battery that way.
The only two wires you need are the red fused one and the black one that goes to any earth point on the frame.

The loom is located under the inside panel on the left hand side as you look at the front sitting on the bike. Trace it back from Ignition switch and use circuit tester or test lamp to find positive wire. I soldered mine but you can scotch lock it in place.

Any help you need shout loud.... im a long way away.
If its urgent then call me +44*******4497 mobile.
