Couple of useful Hotel's

Had a blast to Francais at the weekend with a couple of fellow forum members.
A good time generally was had but a couple of good small hotels we used were:
Meropol in Boulogne and Le Cheval Blanc in Honfleur.
What made them a little different was the secure undercover parking they both had at a very reasonable cost.

I'd like to add a couple of hotels I use. First is cheap, cheerfull, bike friendly and convenient for the Harwich / Hoek van Holland ferry. The Hotel America is in the middle of the Hoek and lets you keep you bike in the back garden - nice and safe,m good food and Engish spoken.
My favourite is in the Eiffel region just into Germany, 40 miles from the Nurbergring for those so inclines, in the heart of some of the best roads within a days ride of Calais, about 40 miles from Luxembourg too. It's called the Hotel Muller Garni in Kyllberg and has a garage to lock you bike in, tool use if required and drying facilities. Nice bar too!!  :beer: The owner (Ulli) is a biker too. Good Breakfast and good local food available at the hotel next door. Ther's an Italian restaurant just accross the river too.

Yip - Stayed in the Hotel America on the way back from VIM 5 - I can vouch for the garden, but it is a little tight with three Varas
