In hindsight GPS and knowing where you are going are not always linked.

Luckily we had HC and his paper maps.

My first trip abroad on a bike, Absolutely brilliant  :yahoo:

This trip realigned my thoughts on GPS; I think that, instead of a complex set of electronic wizardry inside each GPS unit, there is a pigeon's brain.....every time you start-off to follow a GPS route, it directs you round in two circles of the block you start at, then heads off in search of seeds and other pigeons  :2funny:
