Anyone been to ANDORRA??

Hi,

Fingers crossed i should be heading 2-up to Andorra at the end of April...!

I'm thinking that this is excellent touring terrain for the Vara and would be suprised if there's not anyone here who hasn't done the same??

Just looking for tips on roads to ride, places to stay etc

Hopefully the snow will have calmed down a bit by when i go!

Ive been a couple of times.... a must do is the road from Andorra la Vella via Encamp to Ax les Thermes....dip ya toes in the volcanic pool.... try these for a taster:

that's exactly what you need after a hard day's biking!! just been checking weather conditions over there... it's 22-25oC in Bilbao at the moment!

Don't want to put you off, but April?

Guy at work's just come back from a sking holiday there and there's snow, snow and more snow.
Quite a few of the passes don't clear until back-end of April-May especially if it's been a late winter - which it has.
There was still snow outside of Benidorm last week!

last week of april - should be ok. i know a few viffers that headed out the same time last yr, and although there was snow around, they managed to access the passes... adds to the fun!
