Varadero 125 exhaust removal

Hi all,
My 2004/5 Varadero 125 has been left out in the open and unused for two years and now needs some serious  TLC. I've stripped off all the panels, lights, fairing, handlebars etc. However I'm struggling with the exhaust. I've got the back box off as theres a join. But I can't get the rest of the system out of the frame, is there a nack to it? It's all undone on both heads and all brackets etc, But it physically won't fit past the frame and engine to get it out.
