Hi everyone!

This is a long one but I do need some help, so please read on!   :))

I am planning a trip next year to do the whole of the U.K's south coast

I will be travelling from my home town of Dunstable, Bedfordshire to Weston Super mare down and then all along the south coast to Hastings and then travelling back up to Dunstable, while avoiding motorways. (On a CBT at the moment)

As you could gather, that is a lot of miles and I'm in need of extra luggage space.

I can't find any pannier racks for the 01-06 model but there is one for the one after.
I have seen the gen1 with this racking on so my question is... will the racking for the 2nd generation Varadero 125 fit the 1st gen?

For my plan to go ahead, I need panniers!

Any help would be appreciated!

Here's a pic of my '05 with only 6180 miles on the clock.

No, there don't seem to be any for that bike - very odd!
One solution would be to strap a dry bay to the pillion seat. Plenty of people tour without panniers.
Lomo are the "go to" for dry bags. Their panniers really need some sort of frame.

I have 04 Varadero and was looking for pannier racks for the 01-06 model.
There is Givi/Kappa for 2nd generation, but looking at the pictures, I don't think they are interchangeable.

They both look like standard, early,  Givi fitments

Hi I had the same problem trying to locate Givi pannier racks for my 2006 125 Varadero which is no longer made So I bought the 2007 pl202 racks and they fit perfectly Hope this helps it took around 3 hours to fit them has the pillion foot peg pins were rusted in and I had to cut them out with a junior hacksaw then drill them out
