Heated Grips - Oxford Alternatives

Hi everyone.

My Oxford heated grips are approaching their third winter now, although I've gone through 2 controllers in that time & the grips themselves are getting a bit tatty.

After two years with hand guards doing a decent job of helping keep the weather off but not the cold, I'm considering fitting ugly looking muffs.

M&P, where I buy from regularly & have no complaints, have this offer on:
http://www.mandp.co.uk/productinfo/902786/Bars-And-Footrests/Winter-accessories/Tech-7

The grips on their own are normally ?59.99, which is about the price of Oxfords Hot Grips & the muffs are normally ?19.99 (Oxfords Bone Dry muffs are normally ?33-ish)

So my question is are these Tech 7 things any good? Does anyone have any experience with either the grips or muffs? Tech 7 do tons of accessories  like Oxford & most are comparable quality to Oxford.

Ultimately, would anyone else take a punt?

Hi All

Just a quick update, I had this pointed out to me on the post in the Vara 125 section:

http://www.datatool.co.uk/consumer/products/products/index.php?product=heatedhandgrips

Aside from being a very reputable company, it includes a 2 year warranty rather than the one year Oxford one.

The controller is simply a slider on the clutch side grip, rather than a bulky, cumbersome control unit like most heated grips.

The retail price seems to be roughly the same as the top Oxford Hot Grips & seems to get pretty positive feedback.
