Hi guys,

Any idea if I can get a converter so that I can read my Kph speedo on my imported XL1000 in mph. It's fitted with nasty stickers at the 30mph, 50mph and 70mph which is far from ideal and if I were ever to go above 70, heavens forbid, I'd have no idea what speed I was doin officer.

Yours, stuck at 70, Barny :)

How about mental arithmetic?  100kph = 60mph so 200kph is very fast officer.... O0
Biking is my 2nd childhood.  On my 3rd Varadeo.

you will buy a kilometer converter on ebay .i bought one for my other bike a Tel1000r they work great, your speed will be shown in miles per however your odometer will stay in kph.hope this helps.

Thanks for this info guys. I've E-mail the E-bay sellar to see if he can confirm it suitability for the Vara. New items seem to be between about 40 & 60 pounds. Let you know how I get on.
