just fitted the anakee 3's to my 1000xl vara wow what a difference handles really well very
impressed any one else had these fitted and what sort of mileage can i expect

Just posted this reply in another post but it will cover your post too:

I'm on my second set of Anakee 3s, I got 7k miles from the front and 10k from the rear and this second set looks like they'll last about the same. Superb in the dry and I've had no issues with them on wet tarmac, although I don't try to get a knee down when it's wet. They do go a bit out of shape towards the end but nothing too dramatic. I will be buying a 3rd set when required. Hope this helps.
