Bought a new Vara

As we all know, the Varadero is a model that has come to the end. Honda have clearly not recognised the potential of this model. Instead, what do we get? A Crosstourer! Well. I have been looking at all the options around and have come to the only obvious choice - a new Varadero. The last of the breed. So I rode my 2006 silver in to Hunts of Manchester yesterday, agreed a deal and I now await the delivery of my new baby, a 2012 Shasta White model with a  few extras. Why? Josep, our host at VIM14 clinched it for me. He reckoned that it was like changing your girlfriend or wife. After a while, you come to thinking that you quite liked the ways and habits of the previous one. So there we are. No Tenere, Vstrom, GS, Crosstourer, Guzzi, Triumph, TDM, etc, for me. A third Varadero for me instead.

I totally agree....but I still want to thrash every test ride available and take it back steaming, stinking and abused.....

Oh dear! So I have bought a new Varadero and now I am worried about getting it all dirty. So I have gone out and traded one of my bikes for a 2007 Transalp for use as a winter bike. Anybody want to buy a Yamaha TTR250 enduro?
