In case ya didn't know WHO the hansum fella was in the MAIN picture...it was moi.  Bike and all.

I was REALLY suprised about coming first in the Trailly's category, but felt it was justified.  I wondered why me and the bike were photographed on yellow.  The guy who came number 2 on the GS1150 Adventure was a really nice bloke - a biomechanic - rebuilds faces aparently at Newcastle General Hospital.  The more amazing thing was...he managed to get from Newcastle to Peterborough in 2 hours.  Go figure!!!!!

For the people who subscriped to RiDE magazine, they got their copy early.  For those who cannot wait any longer, you need not worry.  Tomorrow (September 10th), the magazine will be ready for everybody else to purchase.

I would REALLY LOVE to thank everybody on this forum....between us all, I think we have put the Varadero on the road map of motorcycles.  Long may it continue.
