Center Stand Issues

Hi there, i wonder who can help, i have a 2011 varadero 1000 with no center stand im looking for a used one with no joy, the only one i can find is for a 2000 model vara does any one know if this will fit   Ive borrowed one from a friend just to line it up and im still not sure, looks like the only difference that i can see the moment is the right side bracket, the tubular shaped bit that the large bolt goes through needs to be the same length as the other one on that same bracket, even if i cut it of so there the same size im still unsure if it will fit, Has any one else fitted a 2000 modes center stand to a newer bike ok ?

Hi there , i just had the same problem and fitted one from a 2000 model on my 2010 and it fitted great.
