feul tank blisters

Has anyone else had this problem with the 08 model, have just had my 6000mls service and i noticed little blisters on the side of the tank on both sides, they are just under the graphics.
 Been told i will get a new feul tank this weekend as it appears the blisters are under the laquer of the tank, also has to have a new rear disc and heat sheilds on the pipes.
