How the insurance companies have feked us over in Ireland. I bought a 2004 125 xlv last year with my 17 year old. We have spent 6 months making it road worthy and teaching basic motorcycle maintanence. So we're now ready for tax, insurance, etc,etc the only quote we have so far is 1750 euro for third party only with a 300 euro excess!!
Also no MOT's for motorcycles in Ireland Howse them apples?

It's the age thing, they get you every time.  I paid £82 for the year, and that wasn't even the cheapest quote.
