I gaffer tape a spare key to the inside of my visor, that way I won't loose sight of it!

Pah! Call that dangerous? Sometimes I don't even floss!

OK, so there you are, three bikers enjoying a ride through the less populated area of the Carpathians and one of the riders loses his bike keys.  He hasn't bothered to bring his spare key with him.    The other two riders have taken the precaution of having their spare keys with them.

Do the two sensible riders 'waste' the rest of the day and probably the next day, trying to sort out the rider who hasn't bothered or ride off, enjoy their holiday and try to meet up with the other rider when he has sorted himself out?

It depends. If I'm the one without keys, I'll expect the others to run around all day back and fore to the airport/wherever to collect my keys. If I'm one of the others, I'll bugger off.  :bebebe:

If you have a spare why not try programming it !

I wonder what happen if I click on this - Ooops

I was told by my dealer when I bought my latest Varadero that if I ever lost my key, get a new one made immediately from the spare because if you lose both keys you will be in the realms of ?900 -?1000 to have a new key issued whatever it is they have to do with the HISS.
Re: carrying the spare about with me, I don't on local runs but when we're away in Europe or overnight trips we always carry each others in our jackets (apart from one bloke last year who managed to lock his keys in his top box with his spares) but that's another story.

only thing I take is a mobile incase my vara gives up the ghost.. #SOScall

might actually just get a extra key (a 3rd one) cut, and stick it in an inside pocket of my jacket just incase.

With a bike as precious as a Varadero why would anyone lose their keys anyway?
