Mr NiceGuy

then wait a while longer.

Garmin are bringing out a new Sat Nav designed for bikes in the same vein as the TomTom Rider but since it's made by Garmin it will work and continue to do so. You can check out the details http://www.garmin.com/products/zumo/
I know I was born and I know that I'll die and what is in-between is mine, all mine.

Monsieur

Feck me!!!
Not cheap!!!

I'm more than happy with my garmin quest - though if it had a postcode search I'd be ecstatic  :good:
You don't quit doing things because you're getting older; you get older because you quit doing things...

Mr NiceGuy

I didn't say it was cheap but when it comes over here it will probably compare on price with the Tomtom Rider.

Looking at the GPSW website, the Zumo will be ?479.98 with UK and Ireland mapping or ?579.99 with full European mapping. They are currently selling the TT Rider for ?349.91. So no, definately not cheap. Nice though!

Some more on the Zumo -

I've a Garmin Streetpilot III for sale. It is loaded with the 2009 maps which cost ?60 (don't ask, a cock-up with serial numbers) and I'll even throw in a Touratech mount for it. Asking ?80 plus p&P but I'm open to offers.
