On July 29 a new accommodation only for people on vehicles with two or three wheels and an engine, opened in Copenhagen. It?s based around a garage i a complex of industrial buildings which once was a commercial vegetable marked.

You simply ride into the garage and straight to the reception/bar, so you can actually sit on your bike when checking in and perhaps get something warm/cold to drink too. The floor is concrete, so it doesn?t matter if you drip a bit of oil or feel for making a burnout in there, as the owner says: I?d like this place to smell of bikes, so a bit of gasoline and burnt rubber is okay with me. ;D

You can park your bike in the garage, or, take it to your room... yes, that?s right! The rooms are outside the garage, and consists of shipping containers, in which there?s one or two beds, lights, hooks for your clothing and space for your (solo) motorcycle! It?s kept simple, but what more do you need?
Well, toilet and bath of cause ;D, this is located in a cabin next to the containers, for common use.
The prices start at around 45 ? per night for one person and one bike.

The guy who started it, has been riding motorcycles for 35 years, and he started it for his own money. It?s kept very simple and rustic (e.g. is the reception/bar build of pallets), but I think that along the way as he can afford it, he will make some improvements, he sounds like a man with a lot of ideas.

The location is very centrally placed just 12 minutes ride from E20 whether you come from south through Denmark or from Sweden via the ?resunds-bridge. There?s only 10 minutes ride to the center of Copenhagen and 10 minutes walk to the subway:
