Fuel/ carb problems

Hi Folks,
I'm a newby so please take it easy on me.
I've got a 2003 varadero 1000 and im having a nightmare with her!
I have got fuel trickling from the overflow pipe that branches into the bottom of both carb float bowls.
so far I have stripped and cleaned the carbs, changed the float needles, blown through all hoses, I have even bought a second hand pair of carbs but the problem persists.
I have ordered a new fuel pump which I will be installing at the weekend.... my question is, has anyone had a similar problem and is there a way of adjusting the float height? It seems that when I pull the branch overflow pipes off of the float bowls it is only the rear carb that is overflowing.
I hope this makes sense and sorry for rambling on but I've been stuck on this for three weekends.
thanks,
Simon

Hi

Is it the original Honda fuel pump or has it been changed at some point ?
I wonder what happen if I click on this - Ooops

Hi I've just installed a new cube pump and put it back together, but have gotten confused with all those bloody pipes! I have rule coming out of the Y pipe connector which goes to the bottom of the carbs, where's it meant to go?
Cheers

really appreciate it,
that'll teach me not to draw diagrams and mark everything, i thought it would be so simple.
by the way i've ordered an original vara fuel pump as the cube facet copy was pumping too much fuel to the carbs i think so be on the safe side...
