Getting the Centre Stand (or any other) Spring back on can be a bit tricky.

The potential for skinned knuckles or a visit to the local casualty dept is high.

One method is to use coins or washers to extend the spring.

Hold the spring in a vice and bend to one side. This will expose gaps between the coils and it's easy to slip coins in.

Bend it in the opposite direction and put coins in the other side.

Fit the spring and then pull out the coins with pliers.
